Is this instead of EMH or on different nights aimed more for guests not staying at Disney?
Personally I would not pay $150 for a few hours extra in the park (that are not themed for a party or such like)... the ultimate tickets cost enough now as it is. |

Who in their right mind would actually pay this? For three measly hours, and you can't even go on every attraction? Is this more than the price of a day ticket? Personally I can see it going down like a lead balloon. Most locals would have an annual pass, and the majority of us have ultimate tickets, so I just don't get who they're aiming it at?

My guess is that it's aimed at guests who can't afford or don't want to stay onsite? Still, you are right and it's crazy money! Be interested to see how many go for it!

Expensive and not exactly child friendly if I'm reading it right - you get entry to the park from 7pm, but your 3 'special' hours don't start until the park closes meaning that your hours are either 10pm-1am or 11pm-2am on the nights that it's on. Surely, it's cheaper to go for the whole day and buy ice creams.

Sad The Way Disney is Going
In 2007/8 on our first 2 visits to the World, we had park EMH till 2am several times during our stay including MNSSHP which I see now finishes at midnight.
Part of the whole Disney experience for us has always been doing the unusual being in a park early hours of the morning when the bustle has gone but there is no way I would pay 149.00 for the pleasure. Disney accommodations are expensive but you pay to get an experience - sadly over the years this is just being whittled away or charged for! |

This shouldn't affect us too much as we're not planning on being in the MK on those dates, but I'm shocked at the price, you really get nothing for it and paying all that for an extra three hours in a park already opening for 13 that day is incredible.
'Free' Ice cream though... Will they do another set of fireworks and the Electric Parade? The park may be open until one, but with Wishes on at 10pm the park won't be empty of non extra paying guests much before 11pm I'd have thought

I think Disney are beginning to lose the plot, it really is getting silly now. all very disappointing.

I think we might be missing the point by saying it's not very family friendly - it's probably not meant to be.
Much like Museum Lates events and After Hours Zoo events this seems like a way to tap into a millennial market looking for experiences that seem unique and unusual. It's a bit more appealing to me as I don't have Disney tickets for my upcoming holiday (plus it's just me and my boyfriend). Quite expensive but the chance to get a quieter few hours jumping on a few rides with Disney all lit up does seem exciting. |

It feels like every week there's some new money making scheme from them. I guess with all the Shanghai goings on they have to.
I guess at least that this, and the preferred parking are optional, unlike the tiered pricing
