No credit card!
Our son, a freelance journalist , is only 20 and has no credit card. He is going to Boston and Orlando next week and I'm a little anxious about him going without a credit card. He's going to take a travel card and his hotels are already paid for, but I'm imagining him arriving and them looking a credit card number at check in for security purposes . Is it possible to manage without one?

Warn him to be super careful to keep his eyes on it at all times.

We have never used a credit card, because we don't have one. We do both take our debit card, this is seen as a credit card in Florida. I have managed for quite a few years without one.
