Any recommendations on places to stay in the keys. We have two weeks and are planning a relaxing keys trip - quite happy with self catering, hotels or air bnb. Hoping to fly to Miami and set off from there in sept

We stayed at Hawks Cay on Duck Key mid way down the Keys mixture of hotel rooms and houses. In key west Casa Marina Resort and Hilton at Key Largo all very nice , booked via BA Holidays we had family rooms in all of them. Enjoy the planning ...

A few years back we stayed at Southernmost on the beach, Key West. It was fantastic, friendly and we loved it. I think it is the last hotel in USA before hitting Cuba, at the end of Duval street.

Only downside when we did the Keys was not stopping at Hawks Cay, just have to go again.

Would avoid Key West these days for staying. It has become really tacky since they built the marina a few yeas ago. Try the lesser islands (Keys) you'll find much nicer places. Just my opinion.
