Cocoa Beach Parking & Eating

We are planning a day trip to Cocoa beach for the 1st time & wondered if anyone could recommend somewhere to park the car?
Ideally we'd like a couple of hours on the beach, then a spot of lunch (somewhere nice but not too pricey as we're a family of 4) if anyone has any suggestions? Then wander to the pier for a look around, ideally not moving the car.

Never been to Cocoa beach before so any recommendations are appreciated

There is plenty of parking at Cocoa Beach all along the front.
My favourite place to eat there is the Sunset Cafe, although you would need to drive to it. If you go there in the evening rather than for lunch you'll get fabulous views of the sunset. Slow'n'Low barbecue is also good.

If coming from Orlando on the 520 i it goes straight into Cocoa Beach. We always go straight across the A1A and there is a car park ( have to pay ) It is at the back of " Sandbar Sports Grille. So when parked you go over the the sand dune (walkways in between ) theres the beach and you can hire shades seats etc. Back to the car park and there is the Food place, an outside bar to have a quick drink whilst wet. A place to take a shower to wash away the sand. Into the Bar and plenty of seats inside to sit and eat before heading back.

Why not eat on the pier? We always have a day trip to Cocoa Beach (its nice and busy on a Sunday) and park at the pier itself. There is a car park which I think is $15 or down the sides of the car park is metered parking - if you are there in the morning you will get a space. We usually have a couple of hours on the beach then go up onto the pier for a drink and bite to eat. Then if you save your receipt you can get onto the fishing pier for free and watch the fishermen. There's seats on the pier too so you can just sit and relax with a book if you like. Lovely day out
