First trip to Disney World - Aug
My friend & I are off to Disney World for the first time in August, have done Disney California & Disney Paris before.
We're a little scared at all the planning that seems to need doing as we are used to just winging it, but this time we have the DDP and need to book some ADR. The first 3 nights we are staying at Cabana Bay, and the remaining 12 nights we are at Coronado Springs Resort. Could someone look at this rough plan and see if we are on the right track? There are some mornings, afternoons free as we were going to visit a water park, go shopping, but we didn't want to do Disney and come back totally exhausted! Thanks Thurs 3 Aug Arrival Day Fri 4 Aug Universal Studios Sat 6 Aug Islands of Adventures Sun 6th Aug Discovery Cove, check into Disney ADR Grand Floridian Cafe Mon 7th Aug Animal Kingdom AM, Magic Kingdom Evening ADR Tusker House Brunch, Wishes Dessert Buffet Tues 8th Aug Epcot AM, MK Evening ADR Be our Guest Dinner Wed 9th Aug Magic Kingdom ADR - The Wave Brunch Thurs 10th Aug Kennedy Space Centre ADR Maya Grill Fri 11th Aug Magic Kingdom AM, Animal Kingdom Evening. You will love it, I think most of us panic no matter how many times we have been. Even when things don't go exactly to plan you will still have great time.
I think your plans look good. We changed loads of our ADRs while we were there as our plans changed. The day before each ADR people cancel so you can get in restaurants that may have been fully booked. A couple of times we shared our QS credits as the meals were so big. This meant we could have the odd QS breakfast etc. Also after a few nights we didn't want to eat out formally every night so just had a snack by the pool and saved some of our TS credits to go towards signature meals. You may want to think about using a QS credit for breakfast or lunch at BOG. They are a great use of QS credits. The advantage of BOG breakfast at 8am is you are front of queue for 7DMT. As long as not EMH day. There is so much information your head will be spinning. My main advice would be to get to the parks early as first thing is when you will be able to get on majority of rides. We chill back in the pool when the parks are busy. Have a fantastic time
