Plan for Columbus Weekend
We will be in Orlando over Columbus weekend. If Discovery Cove is in budget I was thinking we could go there on the Friday, Saturday we have ticket for Cirque at 6pm so thought maybe rent bikes in Celebration in the morning and have something to eat and an ice cream. Go to Disney Springs and then have dinner at trex using our Landrys card after Cirque. Struggling with what to do on the Sunday and Monday though? We are at Regal Oaks so Old Town is handy as well as Gatorland? Haven't been there but if we do buy DC there is an offer of free tickets? What does everyone else plan on these days? Not a shopper myself so malls are out.

We went to SeaWorld on Columbus day, the park was fairly quiet. Late afternoon we did go to Premium Outlets South, again not that busy. You could go and play crazy golf and have a mooch along I Drive possibly ride the Orlando Eye?

Thank you! So SeaWorld was ok on that day? Thought we may have to avoid. We flew home on Columbus Day last year and went to universal until the afternoon, we were staying at Hard Rock so had express passes. Kind of thought we would maybe have to avoid the parks this year due to crowds.

From what I can remember the only queue was for Manta which was a 25 minute wait time (Mako wasn't built) went in 2013. I was worried that the park would be rammed but we were pleasantly surprised by the crowd levels.
We are over in Orlando for Columbus day might bump into you, happy planning |
