When to book 1st Fastpass during EMH in MK
Just trying to plan our day in MK.
So far have Be our guest booked for 0815, but its also an EMH day so we would be missing the benefit of getting in the parks early for the rides. Should I delay the Be our guest until mid morning, say 10 am? We could then head straight to some rides at 8am and get a couple in without using our fastpasses. When would you suggest to book our first fastpass of the day? And what sort of wait times are we talking if we arrive as soon as the park opens? (I know its how long is a piece of string!). |

You can't book Fastpasses during EMH hours so first Fastpasses of the day will be from 9a.m. onwards.

I think your change of plan is an excellent idea, it's what we did last summer.
Park opening at 8am practically all the rides are walk ons, so we didnt want to waste good park time eating! We had mid morning breakfast at BOG. The fast passes were booked all 3 in a row from about 10.30 onwards so we could do the popular long wait rides as FP. It's a great strategy definitely change the booking if you can

I agree change you FP to later. Get in the park and do the rides open for EMH and then stop for a break before your first FP.

Yes in theory you are correct. Most rides are walk on with little to no wait time. So we eat breakfast later and book fast passes for later in the morning. But 7dmt gets very busy very quickly and we always fast pass this ride rather than make a dash for it. We just don't want to be barging through with other people all jostling to be near the front of the line. Even though there are cast members enforcing the no running rule I don't want to be fast walking dragging my kids along to the ride straight away like it's a mission.

Might even be a good idea to book an early lunch at BOG from around 11.30am onwards, it's still a QS meal & it gives you plenty time to do rides before it gets too busy. FP for after lunch.
