I haven't been for years but I love the buzz of the ambience of the boadwalk and don't forget the ferrys run near by so if you want to get on a ferry and see it from the water that is an options.

Definitely! We love it there normally go once or twice in the evening. If you time it right it's a nice place to watch the fireworks. We also hired the bikes I can't remember exact price I'm thinking $20-30? There's a few shops and street entertainment.

It's nice for a walk and a sit. We got lunch from the bakery, lovely sandwiches and cupcakes! Sat outside and watched the world go by.

Not really...it was always deserted while i was there (staying at Beach Club)..the backery was nice ,which attracted people staying at Boardwalk as that was the only QS place for them... they have surrey bikes! ..but generally i found the Boardwalk a bit of a ghost town..

where do you park if your not at one of the hotels or already parked in Epcot?
I'm thinking of doing boardwalk one late afternoon and then heading into epcot after to watch fireworks and do some of world showcase.

You could get a bus to Disney Springs from outside the Boardwalk hotel or the Yacht or Beach Club and then another to your hotel.

We have been to Disney World 3 times and didn't even know about boardwalk on our first visit! We managed to go for a walk on our 3rd trip and found it to be a really nice atmosphere and its a slower pace than the park so nice for a break. I think its definitely worth a visit if you have time!

We tried some treats from the boardwalk bakery and loved them all! I know Ample Hills has now opened and I cant wait to try the ice cream flavours(probably one of the flights to get more choice), there are some restaurants on boardwalk but I haven't tried them personally.
