Cozumel - Mexico

We had a lovely day at Chankanaab. There were taxis waiting outside the port area and we shared with another couple who were waiting in the queue. It was only about 10 mins away if I remember correctly.

DH took his own snorkel but you could hire them there. We had a lazy day but you could also swim with dolphins etc. There are also models of some Mexican ruins as well as wildlife there. We did enjoy the tequila tasting though!

Are there any good restaurants need the port that you would recommend to sample some authentic Mexican food?

The last time we went to Cozumel...it was the third time..having done the Dolphins etc before we thought we would do something a bit different and went for the Cozumel Bar Hop..it really was good fun and you get to see some lovely beaches on the other side.
We went with the owners of Maya Chan resort on Costa Maya...their place is true paradise if you ever go there and they really enjoyed the Bar Hop also.
