New to cruising! How does it work with dine plan!
Hi everyone! We're going to disneyworld on our Disneymoon! Looking into booking the three night Bahamas cruise
How does it work if the free dining plan is available again in 2018? Do you have to have the hotel on two separate bookings (before and after cruise) as don't really want to go at the start or end of the holiday! Say if we do 1 week CBR, 3 night cruise and then one week AKL. how does that work with free dining? Thank you Claire |

Unfortunately it won't work with free dining. They'd be classed as 2 separate bookings and the only way to get free dining with both stays is to buy a set of park tickets with each room booking, which cancels out the benefit of free dining. Maybe look to rent DVC points for 1 of the weeks as that could work out cheaper than a normal cash booking and free up money to buy food that week. Also, with your plan your need to buy a 21 day ticket. Free dining would need to be the first week as you'd need to buy the tickets to get that, then cruise, then a week DVC booking where your park ticket would still be valid.

No they can't. They'd still be classed as 2 separate bookings that would need a set of tickets to be bought with each booking. Unfortunately the disney system doesn't seem to be set up for free dining and split stays.
