Apple Watch?

Hi

I was thinking of buying an apple watch and have decided I'm now going to get one from the florida mall in August. Thats enough time for there to be some stock I think.

For example the apple watch (stainless steel) is £599 in the UK with the milanese loop band.

In the US, the same watch is $699 which equates to £460 on todays rate. Thats a whopping £140 difference.

My understanding is the apple kit is not region locked and its just tied to your apple account. I can't see this being an issue.

Any ideas?

Had you thought about going for the stainless steel with the sports band and changing the band?

I was after the classic leather band but it's £180 more than the sports band, they'll be loads of unofficial straps released for a fraction of that cost. There are already some sites selling them now, but I'm planning to wait until the watch is in circulation.

Im not wedded to the Milanese loop. I was just giving an example.

I've heard that Apple are making it notoriously difficult to get a band from anywhere else. They are out today and we should see shortly how this could work out.
