Easter Sunday dinner recommendations, Universal area
Hi all
Looking for some advice for somewhere nice to eat on Easter Sunday 2016? We are staying in the Cabana Bay beach resort and will have a car. Any suggestions on a good place to eat for 2 adults and 2 kids. Will i need to book somewhere in advance? Is Easter is the US as big a holiday day as it is in Ireland? We are not too fussy but don't want to end up driving around looking for somewhere. Many thanks in advance JJ |

I'm interested to hear answers to this. Everyone says how busy it is but I can't find much on restaurants etc.

What sort of food do you want. The Teak Neighborhood Grill is really nice, and probably ten minutes drive away. It's more a local place as the name suggests

would you be happier having a reservation rather than a possible long wait?

Teak is excellent btw no idea how busy it might be though? We've been twice, late afternoon and it's been fairly quiet.
Most of the restaurants on I Drive are huge chains and only offer walk-ups so on Easter Sunday you may have a long wait. Having said that, I don't think we've ever waited particularly long? Any young children who may object to waiting? (Or adults?) Maggiano's (I Drive) is possibly bookable and very good too. I think that may have been where we ate last Easter Sunday I would suggest having a look at the restaurants on Sandlake Road if you do want to book. I believe most of them are on Open Table and there's a good mix of cuisines. Have a look at Seasons 52, Rocco's Tacos, Melting Pot and Roy's. There are also a couple of steakhouses. There must be a full listing somewhere. I'll have a search and post if I find something. Edited at 07:17 PM. |
