Landry Card Problems

Has anyone else had problems with Landry or am I unlucky. I tried to register about 3 weeks ago only to find the site had taken two $25 payments. My card company has since refunded one of the payments but Landry say they are unable to find any record of my name. I did not receive any email confirmation when I registered. Landry are asking for my full card number which I am reluctant to give as on our last visit my parents credit card was cloned in Bubba Gumps. I don't understand why they need a card number when they could search my surname? We only want the card to queue jump!

That's a shame. I ordered one for myself and one for DH and never had any problems. Hope you get it sorted x

I've also had problems, last week tried to register 3 times with no success (and 3x entering card details) I immediately turned my card off (travelex Supercard) so they couldn't take payment (after reading other similar stories on here) . I emailed them to see if any of my attempts had gone through, but still waiting on a response. If I were you I'd also try and cancel the other card transaction, and start from scratch, but on a laptop not a phone/tablet as I think this is where the problem lies.

I also had problems transaction went through twice I contacted them and they replied really quick but no refund as yet emailed several times since still no refund and
When I try to login its says email not recognised! !

Hi, I had completely the same problem it was a bit of a nightmare but what I gave them was the number on the credit card bill against the payment, and the last four digits of the card used. I also emailed them about 4 times a day demanding a refund and it did work, but it was quite stressful. So try that, if they have taken payment then of course they will have a record of it, they need to try harder!

Thanks holidaygirl1973 ive probably been to nice in my emails - think I'll just send several emails a day tillthey refund - didyou eventually get a member card?

No, they refunded me for the payments that they took (.the ones with no sign of a confirmation email etc), then I re applied for one on the laptop and it worked immediate and I got a confirmation email immediately too, I received my card yesterday. Yes you have to be pushy otherwise they are just too slack which is not good enough when they are quick enough to take your money without the courtesy to inform you! The key is don't apply for one on your iPad, only on the laptop! Good luck!

Gulp - I wished I had read this thread before JUST applying for a Landry card on my IPAD?.

I have been able to log in so hopefully all will be ok.

I registered last year and it was all ok, only one payment taken and card came within a week. Seems a bit hit and miss.
