Mobile Atlanta connection- where to go

We are connecting via atlanta next week. I know we have to collect our baggage once we land and recheck it for our flight to tampa. Can anyone tell me is the baggage rechecked in at the terminal we land in(international terminal) or do we take it to where our connecting flight is departing from (likely to be concourse A) and check it in there?
Just trying to get an idea of the order of things to make our first ever connecting flight a little easier.

Thank you.

It's fairly straight forward but it is worth walking through the route before you go.
Go to your airlines web site and find out which terminals they fly from, you will also find a terminal map on there or on the airport web site.
Once you have an idea of the process go to youtube and put the info into the search box, for example Virgin to Delta at atlanta airport or "transferring at atlanta airport"
Any search term like that will bring up lots of videos for you to look at.

Sorry i forgot to add that you pick up your luggage and walk a short distance to a luggage belt where they will be waiting to take it from you. Lots of people will be doing the same thing.

Interested in this too as we're doing this route in less than 2 weeks.

It’s fairly straight forward
Clear immigration colllect bags if you have purchased duty free if you can put it in the bags if transfer time is tight
Clear customs declaring food and alcohol purchased
Follow signs for flight transfers put bags on this carousel check bag labels say Orlando ( or final destination)
Then follow signs for flight connections you may need to change terminals if time is tight or for some reason your flight is not showing
Has happened to,us on several occasions find your air line desk airside
We’ve been those folks on that golf buggy peeping at you to get out of the way
99.5 times we’ve never had an issue
