I would never complain about a present someone got me, even if it was an air freshener. My mum always complains about her gifts or tells me exactly what to get her it has totally ruined buying a gift for her as I am a para wreck making sure its good enough. Some years my kids get my flowers/candles/chocolates other years they pull it out the bag and I get something disney etc but I am always delighted they have remembered. Sorry it seems to be a different opinion than the majority 🙈 whatever my opinion i hope you have a wonderful birthday xx

If I'm honest I'd be miffed if my daughter did the same... My daughter is also 21 (today actually) and she's quite good at getti g it right. I love home scents, diffusers, candles that sort of thing so she often buys me those but wouldn't gift me an ambipur, I seem to be forever on a diet so chocolates would t be ideal but then again if you can't overindulge on your birthday when can you? So put your feet up, look online for something to treat yourself with... Maybe a luxury smellie product for your home that will overpower the ambipur, have chocolate for breakfast but most of all don't let it consume anymore of your thoughts and have a wonderful day... Happy Birthday 🎂🎉😘

Our kids are in their thirties and are like chalk and cheese when it comes to gifts. Our daughter is very thoughtful and always buys imaginative gifts - our son, well, we’re lucky if he even remembers.
OP - at least your daughter remembered and got a gift even if it was a bit insensitive/thoughtless. |

From a 21 year old girl it’s odd yes, seems like she out no thought into it and has no money lol.
