SeaWorld advice
Hello all, we have arrived in Florida and are chilling at the villa (we spent 5 days in New York so really needed the relaxing day) 😁
Planning to go to Seaworld first thing tomorrow. My plan is to get there for opening at 9am and stay until lunch time. We are already struggling to acclimatise to the heat so think we would be doing well to last until lunch. Does anyone have a suggestion of a good plan of action to make the most of our time there? We want to see the shows, see the penguins, do a few rides. Any suggestions would be most welcome for us novices. 😄😄 (kids are 19, 17 and 13 for reference). Thanks in advance. |

Pick up a map right by the entrance with show times them make your
Way to Manta then Mako and then catch a show then Atlantis and Kraken then concentrate on the shows if you just want to see the penguins make sure you are not in the ride line but penguins viewing only Sea World is a very open park so make sure you drink plenty Not to be missed are the Manatees especially if the rehab area is open It’s amazing to see and here how many of them they Rescue each year Return to the wild or have to remain in care not Sea Worlds decision but the Federal Goverment who also say where they will remain And yes it’s hot hot 102 on our pool deck this afternoon and it’s still over 90 out here just Now Edited at 12:54 AM. |

Have a look at the days show timetable online before you get there, as im not sure you can fit all three shows in by lunchtime,so might need to prioritise and see if you are feeling up to staying later for the ones you cant see before lunch. Have a good day.

As above - get there for opening - they tend to hold you just before the entrance to Manta.
Once they let you in, you can either head to Manta with the rest of the people (maybe 10 minute queue line) - or blast straight over to Mako or Kracken for little to no wait. Once all three coasters done, decide if you want cooling down and if so Infinity Falls will certainly get you wet. If you are only planning to stay till lunch time - you have a decision to make as to whether you also want to ride Atlantis, as this will eat into your time. You probably wouldn't be able to do all four shows they have, so decide on maybe the two that you really want to see (probably Orca's and Dolphins) and work around the show times to also include the penguin encounter. As Gryff said, do not join the ride queue for Antarcita - empire of the penguin (as this could easily be in excess of 50 minutes) - just just the normal queue. Personally, you would need more than four hours to get the most out of SeaWorld as it's a theme park with so much more to do then rides.
