Caring for giants

We haven't done it at AK but at Busch and the elephants are amazing as was the bond between them and there keepers they are huge close
Up but so tactile and gentle when giving them respect and space we were just out side the away from the public eye area and we were so lucky they kept putting there trunks over the fence to touch us it was almost as good as the day we spent at the baby elephant rescue centre when visiting friends Kenya

I've booked for 16th may. Very excited. I phoned 0800 number and it was all sorted no problem. Just checked Halifax clarity statement and it was £24.10 each.

Meant to post this when I got home! The tour was great and we got to see lots of the elephants quite close up, including the newest addition who is called Stella, and in an area where you can't see them from the safari tide. There was an elephant expert there who told us a bit about the elephants and answered any questions and we were allowed to take pictures. I loved it!

Yes I forgot to post too! We took the tour at the end of April, thought it was well worth the money and would have paid more. We found the interaction with the CMs great, they gave the kids items to look at and explained a lot about the elephants. The viewing area was fab with lots of opportunity for pics etc.
