Restaurant recommendations

We haven’t got a dining plan, so plan to self cater a little and take picnics into the park (we are staying at Davy Crockett), but I thought it would be nice to have one or two nice meals booked.

Any recommendations that aren’t too expensive, either in the parks, the village or within a short driving distance?

Thank you ☺️

I never have a meal plan when I go. Rainforest Cafe and King Ludwigs are good, and not too expensive. Also Earl of Sandwich. The Steakhouse is nice but a bit more pricey! There are lots of restaurants at Val d'Europe, it's not far from DLP

We like annettes as you don’t need to book and portions are big. The buffet at Davy Crockett was also good but we were on a dining plan so not sure how much it was.

Annette’s looks fun. They all seem pricey though. Earl of Sandwich looks like a good option. Is Planet Hollywood worth a visit?

Annette's has a reasonable €19.99 2 course option. It's not extensive choice, but it's pretty good. You could ask for a jug of tap water. Kid's meals seem to have a standard (ish) price in most places. They get 3 courses and a drink is included for them. X

20 Euro’s, that’s not too bad. I didn’t see that on the menu, I’ll take another look, thank you 😊

If you are looking for lower price options and you have a car you can drive to the Val d’Europe shopping centre 5 mins from DLP. If you park up near the Sealife Centre entrance you will find lots of restaurants to choose from with lower prices than those in the parks or village.

La Criee in Val d’Europe is nice if you like seafood. Also there are two good burger places around there.

Edit: Alfred Burger is the one I was trying to remember! Tiny place with very good burgers cooked to order, not expensive.
