Using free parking at cabana bay as virgin guest but getting hire car elsewhere

Can anyone confirm if I can still use the free parking via virgin holidays if I get my hire car from a different source.

We booked hotel only with virgin last year and our car was hired via a BA flydrive.
No problem at all it was sorted at check in.
So as long as you have booked via virgin holidays you should get the free parking.
