The photos of Yosemite really don't do it justice, it's just stunning everywhere you look
Thank you for reading, I hope the report is helping you plan

It’s so very beautiful, what a stunning set of pics you have.
But oh my, I’ve gone right off the tents and that early start. I have a super 😴 With me so we would have been THAT tent . Eek.
It must have been a lovely afternoon around the lake, just outdoor fun.
Totally agree with you on the packing. I did that this time so the final morning was a lot less stressful.

I didn’t even think about the noise and therefore lack of sleep when booking the camping!
The views from Glacier Point soon made us forget about it though.
It was just so serene there, in every direction you had breath taking views. The mountains made you feel tiny!
I always have to get a head start on the packing. Where I buy so much I find it a stressful task so would be even worse if I was rushing too. I’m looking forward to next year not having to do it in a steaming hot tent though 😂

Glacier Point is stunning, you are very brave to drive up there in the dark, I was absolutely terrified in the daylight

Its possibly the most stunning place I have been too, I would have stayed up there all day given the chance!
I think it probably helped it was pitch black as I couldn't see the sharp drops off the side of the mountain

Love all your photo's of today. Stunning views from Glacier Point and well done for getting up early to see the sunrise. What an experience.
Hope you manage to get some sleep tonight!

I'm so pleased we got up that early even though it didn't seem like a very good idea at the time
Thankfully I slept much better, sheer exhaustion probably had a lot to do with it

How annoying about your noisy neighbours, very inconsiderate. I hope you get some sleep eventually.

Amazing views from Glacier Point. Your photos look more like paintings, it's kind of surreal and just stunning. I'm glad it was worth the early start for you.

Nice and relaxing for the rest of the day... brave people going in the cold water!
