4 days, 3 nights - how many meals?

Morning! Now that we have had our summer holiday, I can legitimately start looking into our Halloween trip this year. We are staying in Sequoia Lodge for 3 nights and have park tickets for 4 days and have free half board plus. Questions are - will we have 3 days of food or 4? Trying to organise to book a few table dining but not sure how many days we will get. Also, is it one counter service and one sit down a day? Many thanks, Sarah

With the Paris deal you get one breakfast and one meal per night so you will get 3 meal vouchers. You could use your voucher in counter service but it wouldn’t really be good value to do so.

dlpguide/planning/dining/meal-plans/

This will give s guide to the plan and menus. We paid for buffalo Bills which gave us an “extra” voucher for the last day.

Yes, as above you’ll get three main meals, but you can choose to use them on any three of your four days. We always pay for one meal OOP as we arrive early on our first day and leave late on our last day, so we need one extra day of meals.

We book meals for each day, and pay OOP for whichever one isn’t good use of our meal plan. (e.g. on the Premium Plan, we paid for a standard buffet OOP. On the Standard Plan, we paid for a plus level meal OOP.)

That is great! I didn’t realise that we would be still able to use our breakfast voucher from the first day on the last day. I thought that it would be written off as we are not arriving until after lunch time. Phew! Sarah

Thought I would add it isn’t actually a voucher it is a credit put on to your room card.

I think it’s pretty much expected that you’ll use your breakfast credits from your second day until your last day, so you won’t need to worry about arriving after lunch time. We usually arrive early on check in day, but after breakfast, so our first DLP breakfast is always on day 2.

I think of it as 3pm check in so only dinner on first day. 11am checkout so breakfast on last day but no dinner voucher.

For your breakfast i'd recommend looking at booking the breakfast in the Plaza Gardens if you can. I think we paid about £10 extra each but its a character breakfast with 6 characters. You get a credit for each night you stay and worth looking at the table service with the plus logo or its about €30ish for a quick service. We used ours on the last day as we didn't arrive until late for lunch at Casey's Corner. Got Hot Dog, Chips, Dessert, Drink and Hot Chocolate all included in 1 plus meal.
