The Ride Downtown NYC

Will be in the way for 4 nights in New York 2 weeks today 😁. Can. Not. Wait.

I've purchased a sightseeing pass which includes The Ride Downtown (different to The Ride but same company). Has anyone any feedback on this? I'm struggling to fit everything in and not sure whether to bother. Teen daughter's interested in the Virtual Reality, I was interested in historical angle.

We are family of 4 introverts, DDs aged 12 and 15. Is there a lot of audience participation? Is the VR any good?

We did this last year on my birthday see trip report for more details but it was great fun!
Didn�t know if my DH would like it but even he thought it was fab. There is a lot of audience participation but sit in the middle and you don�t get noticed so much. It�s silly and funny and we all came off the bus with a big smile 😁

I'm looking specifically at the ride downtown (George Washington VR) but can't find many reviews of that one.
