Dd had her last GCSE on Friday and ds is currently in his last A Level - roll on 11:30! I’m desperately trying to sort out stuff for our holiday next week but seem to be on taxi duty every day for dd with her various parties and prom etc!

Good luck to those still doing exams. Stress levels have certainly decreased here though both were a bit lost with no revising to do!

DD is almost done. One Citizenship exam left and then she’s free!
I’m waiting for the first “I’m bored” to come out of her mouth... 😂

DD does Citizenship too, her year are the first to offer it as a GCSE. I personally think it should be offered to all schools, it’s a really interesting syllabus and she’s taught me a thing or two!

I hadn’t heard of it before this thread, it sounds like something DS would have really enjoyed. Shame they didn’t have it

My DS had German today too, was his last one. All his friends finished last Friday so pleased he is finally done. We stopped his (excessive) use of xbox in Feb and promised from 12pm Mon 17 June he could go on it as much as he wanted, so that's since 12 today. He will get bored eventually but was a good bribe.

And we're all done here too. DS had his last exam this morning, Citizenship. It's his Leavers Assembly tomorrow morning and then his Prom on Friday but that's it, school life done forever. He doesn't seem at all bothered . He's looking forward to going to college in September though.

It really is a shame all schools don’t offer it. I left school just about knowing who the Prime Minister was whereas she can tell you all about the ins and outs of the government, the UN, WTO, NATO, the list goes on 😬
