Day 12 - Disney springs & an evening at Magic Kingdom

Plans for the day:

Fastpasses
Seven Dwarfs Mine Train at 1:15pm
-Splash Mountain at 4:10pm

Character Dinner at Be Our Guest located at Fantasyland at 7:00pm

So our original plan was to head to Blizzard beach for the morning, however, after our visit earlier in the week we decided against it, mainly for how long the bus times would take, especially coming back & getting to MK for our fastpass @ 1.15, so instead we decided to go to Disney springs for some retail therapy.

The kids were really getting into the swing of having their own daily money allowance by now & as they had some left from previous days had a bit to spend & bought themselves some souvenirs whilst me & Darren just browsed.

After this i really wanted to visit WL as i had wanted to stay there but it was out of my price range so i cancelled the FP for 7DMT & we headed to the bus stop to visit WL

WL is a gorgeous & is definitely on my list for my next visit, i may rent some DVC points for a night or two as a bit of a surprise. We grabbed some lunch in the QS restaurant, (no pics i'm afraid), then caught the boat across to MK

Once arrived at MK we had a bit of time to kill before our FP for Splash Mountain so just wandered around taking in the atmosphere.

I really like Splash Mountain & it is Alex's favourite ride, however, for some reason the ride pictures were empty, which was a bit disappointing as my face wasn't covered by a poncho this time, still never mind

after this we managed to get on Peter Pan which was only a 10 min wait, which was a really nice ride. Then we headed to Tomorrowland for Buzz Lightyear. The kids decided to swap around so i had Alex & Scarla went in the car with Darren

After this we headed to BOG for our dinner reservation. We were seated in the West Wing, which i was really please about but kids really hated as it was quite dark & there was thunder being played throughout.



There was also a bit of Disney magic as our server brought out a little cupcake with a candle for the kids birthdays + a card each which had been signed by the Beast & Belle which Scarla was over the moon at.

The kids also enjoyed painting chip.



Darren made me laugh though as he had ordered Octopus as his starter but then didn't eat it, when we left i asked him why he hadn't eaten it & it turns out he didn't think it would be real octopus which i couldn't understand lol

On the whole, BOG dinner was OK, however, i don't think it was worth the double TS credit & i defo wouldn't pay OOP for it, but at least i can say I've done it.

After this we headed back to CBR, grabbing a photopass pic on our way out

Scarla decided to start being silly on the bus back to CBR, pretending to be asleep & cuddling her shoe, i think she was trying to see if anyone noticed, i do wander what goes through her head sometimes
