Now that Disney have pulled all the hotels from October, November and December 2021 I am so glad we’d already decided to move our planned October 2021 trip to May 2022 😊

April 2022 for us too hopefully although nothing booked yet, I’m keeping my hopes up after our dream holiday came crashing down 2 weeks before we were due to travel in April this year! 😭😭

Dd also likes the idea of being at universal for her 11th birthday (she said she’s hopeful she’ll receive her letter for Hogwarts )
Im still suffering the disappointment of this year but sometimes I get my mojo and start exploring ideas for 2022! ... love the idea of a split break between Disney and Universal... in my dream world, free dining will be back and we’ll either do 12 nights CBR, or, AKL if pricing is reasonable, followed by 3 nights at one of the universals with FOLP. The planning is a huge part of the fun for me Happy planning everyone.
We are thinking pretty much the same and have been in the same position as you until now too! If we did August 2022 it would also be my daughters 11th birthday!

Really wanted to go in 2021, but thinking it might be better to go in May 2022., I suppose more time to save and a better hotel, but what a long countdown.

I’m bracing myself for some changes, particularly with Disney but obviously it’s all speculation at this point. As long as parades, fireworks, character meets are all back up and running I’d be happy to go. As a Brit though, I’m loathed to go for any less given that my OH has never been - I would personally be happy to go regardless but I want him to have the best time.

I just can’t wait until we can actually start at least looking for 2022 hopefully it’ll fly by and we’ll get this rubbish year out of the way quickly!

We were booked for September this year (taking our one year old for the first time ) but we have decided to have a break with all the new Disney rules. May 2022 for us hopefully 😁

Just updated my countdown. Villa deposit paid for July/August 2022. DH will be celebrating his 60th birthday and DS will be celebrating his 21st (which was this year but has now been delayed due to Covid 19). Will hopefully be celebrating his graduation instead.
