Dining plan/change of Disney hotel half way

If we stayed at a Disney hotel for 10 nights and got the dining plan (hoping free at some point), if we then moved to another Disney hotel for another 4 nights would the dining plan finish at end of the first 10 nights?

Yes it would. Previously you couldn’t do a split stay with free or paid for dining as tickets need to be purchased as part of the package which you don’t need.

Worth noting though that your resort mug may well be valid for your second stay. When we stayed for 6 nights in November, we still used the refillable mug when we visited Grand Floridian to watch the fireworks when we were staying off-site.

To echo what Tony has said,found out on here actually, mugs are "actioned" for 14 days, if your stay is longer you just show your receipt & they put an additional 14 days on.We mistakenly believed that if you had 2 bookings it only was available for the one that was originally linked to it.
