Does Cape Cod smell of fish?!

I want to eat here as I adore fish but my mum hates it. I know there is plenty of other stuff for her to eat but she can't bare being anywhere where you can smell fish. I can't recall whether it smells or not... can anyone? She'll have to put up with the smell on my plate, lol, but is there a smell 'in the air'?

Ozone

Good, fresh fish doesn't smell of fish but maybe when theee's a lot of it being cooked, there's no avoiding it

Me and my wife love fish, but noted this place absolutely stank of it when we walked past it in July. Very surprising because we also thought fresh fish shouldn't smell so much.

Oh dear - it's not looking good then! I am now also worrying about breakfast there too, as the smell might linger.

This is the Disneyland Paris forum - are you sure you mean the same restaurant?

I've never eaten in Cape Cod but I have eaten in Yacht Club, and had breakfast in the same restaurant as Cape Cod. Certainly never smelled any fish.

I've also eaten at Inventions and several other buffets at DLP which all feature fresh whole prawns, and never noticed a smell of fish.

If you are that worried, why not make the reservation, and then pop in one evening earlier to check. You can always cancel and go somewhere else.

We have been at Cape Cod several times. We don't remember a bad smell of fish.
I think she will survive.

We’ve eaten there kids and never smelt fish? There wasn’t even that much fish there anyway.
