So for less than £600 we've painted the tiles
Put new worktops in (my dad helped)
And a new sink!

Wow, looks fab. What a difference with the white tiles & worktop- it looks so much lighter & brighter! I’ve got dark tiles & worktop... has got me thinking now, lol!

It advises to use a brush but don't! Definitely roller it

Looks amazing! What a transformation.
We're getting a new kitchen fitted next month, cream with light grey worktop (as it's tiny and I want to make it feel bigger and brighter). I was starting to wonder if I should have gone for more contrast on the worktop, but seeing yours has absolutely convinced me that lighter is the way to go. Wish mine was your price though.. Such a bargain transformation, fantastic!

I bet that will look gorgeous! This isn't our forever home, probably here until James starts highschool so another 5 years but! It'll do for now ❤️❤️

I wish you all the best as I know the mess will be stressful but it'll be worth it in the long run I'm sure xx

Thanks! We've been here 16 years and I've wanted a new kitchen ever since we moved in. However DH also discovered a love of Disney, and holidays always won! Although it did get re tiled, eventually.

Braced for the upheaval and convinced that it will be worth it! Especially after seeing yours!

That looks lovely. I had black worktops before that I really liked... except for the cleaning, always looked smeary😭 Going for white or light grey this time!
