No more 4 nights for 2 offers?

So all the latest offers are now available up to Summer 2020, on the main DLP website, WDTC and Magic Breaks.
Having been looking at the Magic Breaks website recently this now confirms my suspicion.

The only deals now available in the UK are all including a percentage discount and free dining. Whilst this may please some people, we liked having the 4 nights and the freedom of choosing where to eat, plus the prices seem much more expensive.

What do other people feel about this?

The offers change all the time - normally they have a few months of the free meal deal offer and then swap to a nights free offer.

I'm like you and much prefer the 2 night free offer as I hate the idea of the meal plans. We got a great 2 night free deal this year on the French site which also had the bonus of under 12s free (my DD is 11) so it's worth looking around to find the deal that's right for you.

Free dining works out much better for us than the free nights offer, because the restaurants we like to eat in are pricey (nothing fancier than Chez Remy but still costs a fortune!) so we save more money with the free dining - especially when booking through a foreign site where hotel breakfasts are included with the free offer.

I'm sure the free nights will come around again though - they change all the time as a PP said.

The 2019/20 brochure is now out (and available to view on the DLP website) and for the UK at least is does look like the 2 nights free offer has gone. There is no mention of it whatsoever, in previous years this was a prominent offer in the brochures.

It does seem they are pushing the meal plan deals more and more now.

I'm sure if they think they need them, flash sales with free nights will magically appear!

I would be happy with the meal plan if they would only put breakfast back in the hotels. The grab and go thing is just the silliest idea ever.

At the moment a lot of the half board offers include breakfast at the hotel, this is for dates from the 1st of April 2019 onwards, just make sure to check the T&Cs.

I'm off to check out some prices, I have a special birthday in 2020.
Although looks like the pink hotel will be unavailable.

With New York being closed next year they may not have to work so hard to fill the existing hotels. That could be affecting how generous they have to make the offers.

That it is, however I can't see them putting it back to how it was as there are always people like yourself and I who will pay the extra to eat in the hotel.

They are though. From April all meal plans will have a hotel breakfast.
