Miami airport
Hi
We are flying indirect via Miami when we come home. What should we expect from the airport here? Are the transfers easy? Is there somewhere to get food? Thanks

We’ve flown into/out of Miami a few times and are flying home from there in October. Last year we ate at Margaritaville landslide, wont be doing that again, $100 on 4 x chicken tenders and fries plus 4 diet cokes! There are more locations landslide than airside I have found and getting between terminals is pretty easy. We’ve seen subway, Starbucks, Burger King, chillis too, Dunkin donuts, earl of sandwich. All depends on the terminal you’re flying out of. We’ve never found it that bad an airport but have been quite lucky! Not sure on transfers as we’ve only flown direct to Heathrow x

Transfers are easy but food selection we found very poor. Quite expensive as well even if it is Miami.

There are plenty places to eat airside though you might have to walk to one of the other terminals, TGI's was among many other choices.
Virgin were in one of the terminals previously which had virtually no food but I believe they have now moved. |
