Alcohol on DCL

Hi all,

Boarding the Magic in Dover on Sunday, and would like to take cider on board. Is this allowed?

Their alcohol policy talks about wine and 6 12 oz beers specifically, but cider is neither of those.

Cheers.

So my understanding is that Cider will be treated as beer so you can take 6 bottles onboard.

I'll be there on Sunday too - not boarding unless our crew friend gets us a pass. Dropping my sister and her children off as they're sailing.

In answer to your cider question - it's a yes/no one - some people have been able to take them onboard but officially, it has to be a malt based drink. Depends on security and how they view it.

Enjoy whatever happens!

That’s funny. We might be there on Sunday too but only if our friend gets us a pass but she is entertainment staff and has a rehearsal scheduled so I’m very much doubting we will be able to do it!
If we do I bet we see you Joa lol!

This post was started over a week ago Carolyn! Have you been at the cocktails again?!
I was there on the 18th Aug to wave my sister off. May go back down this weekend (Sunday) to see our friend Graz if she can get any time off.

Joa
