Footwear
What footwear do people wear to the parks? I'm a little worried about having sore feet with all the walking... cant think of anything worse to spoil the magic than blistered feet!

Sketchers go walk. With yoga mat not memory foam.
Tried all the others and come back to these every time

I bought some crocs out there and they were magic! I took some flip flops and some Nike too and I found the best way was to alternate each half day.

I have used sketchers in the past, last year I decided I didn't like the look of them any more, so I brought something else and developed awful blood blisters after the first day!
DH was joining me a few days later and he brought over these which were brilliant and I wore every day after that. amazon/Sundried-Ba...xpY2s9dHJ1ZQ== |

I just wear trainers. I take 2 pairs and alternate them by day. If I’m out shopping for the day or just eating out in the evening I wear heels which I find help stretch my feet slightly and put the pressure on different parts of my feet.
Luckily though I don’t really have issues with my feet (yet, but I’m 64 so it’s just a matter of time !) |

I've been recommended Teva sandals. Also been recommended to alternate shoes every day too.

Birkenstock Gizeh's (toe posts) for me, so comfy. DH and DS's all wear trainers.

I can't do trainers - too hot and I hate it when they get wet. Crocs are very comfy but too slippery. The oft-recommended Sanuks etc. are too flat for me. So I am all about walking sandals.
My feet are SO fussy though - almost anything will make them ache/give me blisters etc and I need arch support too! But after years of trying different ones, I have finally cracked it. I alternate between Birkenstock Rio Birko-Flor (no toe-post to rub your toes) and Skechers Reggae Slim Vacay. birkenstock/gb/rio-b...SABEgJLCfD_BwE charlesclinkard/wo...y-40955-p32168 Edited at 04:16 PM. |

I bring My ASICS running shoes as I know my feet are comfortable in them.
I also have my old favourites - Croc Cleos which I have walked for miles in Florida. I have a new pair for our next trip and am wearing them in. If there is any rubbing anywhere in them, I just get my nail file and smooth it out. |
