Is it Dog no. 4 ?

Oh lord. On our recent walk, there is a dog in a garden, she jumps right up to the fence and she can see you. Neighbours in the area have said she is aggressive, but she is just protecting her property. I went up to her and she let me cuddle her, touch her, love her.
She is beautiful (well I think she is a she). Well today, we went on the walk again and up she popped. This time I really cuddled her, when we left she had her head on her paws on top of the fence and she really looked like "I want to come with you"... broke my heart.

The neighbour said she is left outside the whole of the day... so I have put a friendly note in and asked them if they don't want the dog, I would happily rehome it. (oh my husband is going to be pleased).
I cant forget the look she gave me as we walked away.

4 dogs ! 4 dogs...….!
She is gorgeous and part of me is hoping. xxx

Wow I can't believe how many kind dog loving dibbers there are. I feel so sad for dogs (or any animal) that are neglected.

My concern would be how the dog would get on with your other 3 dogs as it probably hasn't been socialised with other dogs.

We have 4 dogs..one 11 year old GSD, who is more like a carpet now...he does sleep a lot, two 2 year old Springers... who like to spring a lot and a 9 year old jack russel cross...who’s no bother at all...except when he pulls the bin over! 🤣

Go for it...I know it will be treated to it’s best life. 😘

I know however, my approach is...… you WILL have to get on. When we brought Molly back from Spain we were terrified as Myrtle our Bullie at the time was showing very aggressive tendancies due to her abuse. We were frightened but there was no way I was leaving my Molly in Spain. However, the moment they met apart from one growl, Mert fell in love with her.

I think animals are amazing, if they don't get on, they put up with each other.

We give them a great home, an amazing life, amazing food and are loved so very much, as quite a few friends and neighbours say... they are coming back as my dogs. So they have to get on.

Molly never loved Mr. Douglas our disabled dog, never nasty but he came in and took some of me that was hers and she never liked it. Though that dog was and will always be my love, my life.

They will all get on, I am sure of it. I am so hoping they ring... there is absolutely no hope for me is there. xxxxx

I know the pubs in Norfolk, will now probably shut their doors to me... or maybe as they all get a pub meal... 1 between 2... welcome me with open arms.

They see us coming and think... yipppiiiieeeeee…… kerching !

I love the fact some really nice pubs in Norfolk allow dogs in. We had a booklet when we went on the Broads.

all the pubs we go in welcome our dogs and now even know our dogs (mainly because of how much we spend... )... but 4 is a little pushing it. xxxx
