Hi does anyone know how good virgin mobile is in Florida? Will need our mobile to use the uber app but when we went to Spain last year they were useless. Not sure if I didn't set it up properly though

The wifi should be fine

I took my Virgin mobile but turned the data off and used Wifi only. If your at the outlets and need Wifi I looked for a Starbucks or Gap to stand near and picked up theirs. I stayed in contact with family who were travelling with us via WhatsApp with no issues at all.

I did go to turn my data back on as I couldn't get Wifi in a shop and wanted to show a voucher but it wouldn't let me as i'd turned it off before I entered the US, so if you do want the option to use your phone there, don't turn data roaming off until its connected to a US network on arrival, least then you will have the option to go back and forth if needed.
