We went in 2016 and our 5 children had $100 dollars each which they used on our shopping day to buy whatever they wanted. They spent that at the mall, toys r us and target.
We bought them a couple of small trinkets from the parks such as key rings etc. Then at the end of the holiday we bought them something special they had wanted, whatever it was they kept going back to over the course of the holiday. It is easy to just buy everything on a whim which we have done in the past and most of it wasn’t really needed. We were worried this time as we didn’t have a massive spending budget that we had in past years but the kids we’re more interested in the rides shows and swimming pool than shopping. |

We get our children to save for "big " things but this year we gave them $10 a day allowance at the parks so they could buy an ice cream etc if they wanted or save to buy something bigger.
My DH buys the shopping for in the villa but I pay for eating out ( which we do a lot as everyone is on holiday ). Rob |
