anyone eaten here? looks like you can get a really good view of the fireworks and I do like look of the menu...

Great view of illuminations.

Book ADR about an hour before. When checking in at the podium, say you are willing to wait a little longer for a table with a good view. We only waited a few extra minutes for one to become available.

Service was some of the friendliest I've ever experienced at WDW but I found the food a little bland - surprisingly. Sounded mouth watering on the menu. Others in the party were evenly split on the food quality - some loved it. Not sure I'd return because of my opinion of the food quality but view of illuminations was tops.

Good for the view but the small portions for the extortionate amount of money didn't do it for me.

We went last year. Food wise it was probably the meal I was most looking forward to, then was most disappointed with.

Location is lovely and we had a reasonable view of the fireworks. Service was really friendly. Just the food that let it down for us, you might have different luck with different choices.

I must admit, I wouldn't go back. Food was ok, service was a bit...casual? I'd go to R&C again, and the Mexican one, whose name escapes me.

thanks guys..given the luke warm reviews on here (and my daughters reaction to the menu when I showed it to her little fussy pants) I just managed to secure a table at rose and crown which wasn't there yesterday ... might stop there for a drink though the bar looks nice... Dunc did you have trouble getting a table with a view of the fireworks? We got a 8pm ADR ...

I actually just showed up at about 7, and got an outdoor table. It wasn't a great view, but I was very happy.
