What do you get with 1 credit at table service?
Complete newbie question I know...
I've been told that a table service credit means a starter and a main. But does this credit also include a soft drink or do you need to use a separate credit for a drink (non-alcoholic). Daft question but first timer here and used to Disneyland Paris (though i haven't done a dining plan there either) so WDW is a whole new world! |

A table service credit is an entree (main course), dessert and a non-alcoholic drink.
Appetizers (starters) aren't included unless you are doing one of the dining packages (Fantasmic!/Rivers of Light/Festival of Fantasy). |

Remember a buffet table service like Ohana, you get starters, main, dessert...

Thanks all!
Can i ask for my included dessert to be swapped to a starter? I don't eat dairy so desserts wouldn't work for me at all! |

Officially, you can ask for it to be swapped for a side salad or cup of soup.
This was a change brought in two years ago and in all that time I've only read of one instance of someone putting into practice so how accommodating each restaurant might be is a bit of a mystery. |

As above, you can only swap for salad/cup of soup.
You can't just swap it for something from the appetizer (starter) menu. Have a look at some menus to see if there are any desserts without dairy. Or you can add your allergy to your booking and the chef can usually recommend something (or even make you something special) - Disney are very good at accommodating allergies.

Have a read of this thread if you're new to dining plans https://www.thedibb.co.uk/forums/sho... php?t=1011133
As for swaps, we were offered a specific soup or specific salad instead of dessert at a couple of signature restaurants only. To be fair though we didn't ask anywhere else. |
