flying BA...luggage on departure day
This year we had to book with BA instead of Virgin as we have done in the past. I've looked online and can't find anything so thought I's ask here. Departure day...with Virgin we dropped our bags off at Disney Springs. I guess there is nothing like that for BA? Does that mean parking the car with luggage on show wherever we choose to spend our last day? We are staying in a villa off property, so bell services etc is out of the question.

Unfortunately, BA don't do an equivalent of the Disney Springs Checkin, so unless you can find some kind of left luggage facility, your only option is to have your bags in the car.

Ask for a late check out if no-one booked to stay straight after you?

Bags on the last day are a pain. We had all our luggage stolen once whilst in transit so I'm loathe to leave it unattended in a car.

Alternatively try to find a day room at a hotel?

Surely your bags would be in the trunk rather than on show ?
If it's a private villa and there's not new guests coming in the same day your villa owner may be open to a late check out. Worth asking. Edited at 12:55 PM. |

We have an SUV and from the Dibb we found out they don't have a parcel shelf left in. We followed up a suggestion of a black sheet which with the tint on the rear window will help to mask it.
I know this doesn't stop luggage being there, but hopefully it will help. I would still keep things like passports physically with you rather than in the car.
