I'm kind of sad about this, the speedway is an original attraction, the tron thing looks fab but would be better suited to epcot.

I would be sorry to see the Speedway go, but the new ride looks great. Does anyone know if its fast and twisty or does it have drops? I don't do drops, so hope there aren't any.

Tron would be better suited to replace Ellen in Epcot for my money
Speedway is an iconic, opening day attraction and should be updated rather than replaced. Electric cars. Riding a speedway car on your own for the first time is a right of passage. And my autistic son loves speedway..not sure how I'd explain this being replaced by a coaster which he (and I) hate. Gutted if this rumour is true.

For us this is a disaster we have coaster Junkies once done never again oh I'll do that and little people and total wimps but we all love this ride and for us 20+years veterans this is probably the first ride all the kids and older Gdks have done solo a right of passage so to speak e view it as yet another family ride gone and one of the reasons Disney isn't the first
Choice of parks for us now GD isn't a princess sort of girl |

If they have got a grander plan for Tomorrowland as a whole, I hope they keep and respect C of P and PeopleMover.
 I would have thought they have areas of Future World in Epcot, they need to improve and develop first, but the Disney minds do seem to work in mysterious ways!

I hope this is true as the smell of the petrol coming from the Speedway made me feel sick if I so much as went near it- my partner managed to convince me to ride (with him- no way was I driving by myself!) and we had to queue for ages at the end to disembark, the smell and the heat was overwhelming
Now if they could just replace the rubbish 'dance party' music with the soundtrack to TRON: Legacy I'll be happy- love a bit of Daft Punk
