Are there any quiet times now?

I can understand why people want to go there but let's be brutally honest the reviews are not good. However I hope people get what they want and it takes bookings soon.

Oh no. The two girls in our party wanted to meet the beast. Not that I would of been garunteed to get a reservation anyway. If it’s being refurbished why can it still be open for breakfast and lunch? Doesn’t make sense? Surely the whole place would be closed?

August is one of the quietest months especially after the 15th.

American schools are back in August , as are most European schools so it's not a busy time from a non U.K. Perspective

From another thread it’s sounds like it’s the dessert/appetiser and pantry section that needs the work

So not as much impact on the breaksfast and lunch service

I’ve never been in there so not sure what it’s like. Do you think the refurb will make a difference to the atmosphere will it be noticed? A place boarded off? I might just tell the girls the whole place is shut.

Splash was closed Aug-Nov last year. Refurbished unfortunately have to happen. I’m with tom. Really gone downhill so maybe a refurb is what it needs to bring its standards back up.

Rumour mill is that it's moving to a fixed price 3 course menu so need to add additional cooking facilities to allow for this, obviously this will make "it" more expensive - less people but more money, the new Disney Ethos

My Dad will be a bit disappointed when I tell him about this. He loved his evening meal at BOG. Hopefully, I’ll be able to get a lunchtime ADR.
