I drink white & DH drinks red.
My favourite is Torres Vina Sol and Aldi’s Castellore Pinot Grigio Venezie. DH’s favourite is a Tempranillo; loves Aldi’s Toro Loco. 😋

Red for me , like loads of varieties so no fav, my darling wife loves white, sauvignon blanc especially new zealand ones like cloudy bay and mussel pot. But we both love a nice champagne, i too also have to say how have I missed this thread.

I prefer red. But occasionally I am partial to a dry white.
I use our local wine merchant. What we do is keep the receipt and mark each as to how we like it (or not). Next time we go in they will try to give us similar to the ones we marked as best liked and ignore those similar to the ones we dont. I like to try different things. For me, I get a much nicer wine this way than me using Tesco or any grocery store. Though some of the Lidl stuff is nice if you go to the £8/9 mark. My favourite is a full bodied Rioja. |
