I have never booked a cruise, but I always book DIY holidays. DIY means you book with the end supplier. So if I were too add on a Disney Cruise, I would book it with Disney Cruise Line here

I'm looking at August time, it's says to ring for a price but I know just how busy the lines are at the moment. Anyone have a rough idea of costs? We're looking at a 7 days at the parks, 3 days on the cruise for a family of 4 X x

Booking direct with Disney Cruise line about £2.5k, assuming 2 adults and 2 children. You can also books the cruise through an agent like travel on a dream or dreams unlimited to get on board credit.

I assume you mean August next year as they are not taking any more bookings this year. The phone lines will be busy at the moment, I wouldn’t want to ring at the moment either. I would leave making a brand new booking for a few months if it meant ringing to be honest. You have plenty of time to get booked.
In the meantime you can check hotel prices online. disneyholidays/walt-disney-world/ And I found this link which gives some indication of cruise prices. disneycruise.disney.go/c...inations/list/ Edited at 02:52 PM. |

Excited about Disney
|
We’ve just rescheduled our 2020 trip to next year. Booked WDW stay direct with Disney who forced our hands to decide whether we’re going or not this month even though our balance wasn’t due until late July. 4 hours on the phone and moved the trip to 2021 keeping deposit and gift cards.
We had a cruise booked direct with DCL and they’ve been brilliant to deal with. After ringing Disney on Sunday, I got through to DCL in minutes and moved it all to next year. DCL will let you price up your cruise online and place a booking on hold without paying anything for about 2 weeks and then if you decide not to book it just cancels with no fee. Also if you need to rearrange or cancel before your pay in full date, you can get a full refund of your deposit with no questions. This will be our first ever cruise but so far DCL have been very user friendly for a DIY booking 🙂 Edited at 02:32 PM. |

DIY booking for us in 2016 with a cruise - booked with DCL and will do again in future if the industry survives.
