Not bothered about the heat
Still focusing on the positives.
Because we live in a hot hot climate from June through September is over 36 regularly, I'm able to chose outside of the summer. Xmas I think is too busy and non swimming. Usually go September/April or may. What's your favourite month to go and why ? |

We like May, it’s not so humid, less crowds in the parks and shops and less rain. The weather is more settled before the humidity sets in.

Like April or Nov, both manageable as we can't cope with heat and humidity well. Both months fairly dry also.

First two weeks of November were perfect for us. All the Christmas stuff without the crowds. Most days 22-25C but a few very cold evenings and a couple of days at 18C when they closed Blizzard Beach (Typhoon Lagoon already closed, they always close one in the winter).
We hate heat so it was perfect. You need to avoid Epcot on weekends and particularly the weekend of the Food & Wine Half Marathon but the other parks were fine. Veterans Day on 11 Nov is a public holiday. We timed our Universal stay for 10th / 11th to get free front of line passes - but actually Universal was empty! MK was apparently rammed that day though.

I prefer the first few weeks of May, each time was really hot but not as humid or busy as July/August with less rain, we last went end of October/early November & had some lovely hot days but it was chilly some nights & early mornings & obviously at that time of year sunsets earlier, we prefer it hotter with longer days but it may suit you better, you get the added bonus of Halloween decorations & the Christmas stuff started popping up early November 😀

We prefer September but have been the first two weeks of November a couple of times and it’s a good time to go. We found crowd level pretty good and if you time it right you get the start of Christmas plus Food & Wine. The weather can be variable which is what has put us off it in favour of the heat in September but if you’re not bothered about that then it’s a good time to go.
