Last couple of days highs and lows

We leave here on the 3rd, quite sad but I guess it had to end...

Start with lows:
Missed our first flight from Edinburgh, this was a change to start with at BA changed our Newcastle flights and this was the only option open to us...long and stressful story but we got here 4 hours late.

Parks a bit busier than last year but manageable, not keen on how busy the food and wine festival was, especially the drunks...

Noisy room the first night but got sorted straight away.

Kiddie tantrums every day but that’s life I guess.

My little one suffers from very flemmy bad coughs, especially when she gets over excited. One episode on the bus home had the driver stop and come over to us to explain we need to take her to hospital, we tried to tell her we know what the issue is and she’d be ok once we get to the apartment but she kept berating us and made my wife very upset. I eventually told her if she didn’t go away I’d report her, it made us feel very stupid and look like poor parents... I reported her but haven’t heard anything. I understand people care but she made it worse.

Highs
Lovely room and I’ve fallen for OKW (except the above) it’s handy for most of the parks, I didn’t mind the bus service and the room was kept lovely for us. Staff were great with us and our 5yr old terror.

food great as always

Weather good, hot enough for me.

Meeting up with old school friends who live here and meeting friends over here on holiday too.

Might be a while until we get back here so this one has been packed with activities and shows, loved it all... off to Trader Sams tonight to get our Tiki on

Sounds like you’ve had a lovely trip.
My dd is prone to a cough as well so I can imagine the scene. Not what you need from a bus driver.

Some coughs can sound awful. The bus driver was probably only concerned but could have been more discreet.
