Sounds like they’re still too tight? Are they built in nose pads or those ones on stems?

Are they new frames? Perhaps the frames are too small?

This is what I was thinking if they’re on stems, they tarnish sometimes and leave stains. My moisturiser (I’m man enough to admit I use it) caused this on my old glasses, I changed to all plastic and no problems now

Have you tried putting a coat of clear nail varnish on the pads? It will provide a barrier between the pads and your nose.
