Ghirardelli's Ice Cream Snack Credit Confusion

Hi

I was hoping for some up to date advice, we were in Ghirardelli's yesterday and they said that a snack credit was worth $6. That's easy enough with the chocolate bars, but in the ice cream shop, sundaes were $10-12. Are they snack credit eligible? If so, are they really 2 credits each? They looked lovely, but that's not great value.

Are there any other ice cream sundaes that are eligible? We know about the brilliant place at the top of Main Street.

Ghirardelli’s have moved from offering items like Sundae’s as a snack credit to a ‘value’ based system.

Each snack credit is worth $6.24 and you can buy anything you like in multiples.

Some things become less worth it, so a double scoop ice cream is now more than one credit, but there are big benefits.

We had around 30 snack credits left over as we approached the end of our 14 days - instead of not using them, or wasting them on poor quality Disney sweets, we spent $185 on high quality chocolate in the main shop, and now have presents and goodies to last us for months.

I saw others coming out with bags of them after doing the same thing!

You can get 1 scoop of ice cream there as a snack credit. It's quite a large scoop too.

I think 2 sc are good for one of their sundaes.
If you think a bottle of water, a pack of crisps, a bottle of pop etc is 1 sc then def worth 2.

When we was there last year I am sure it was two scoops of ice cream for 1 SC unless it was just one and it was massive lol
They put the cone on its side on a plastic tray type thing. It was delicious 😋

This isn’t a great photo as I wasn’t taking the ice cream I was taking the kids. But that was a snack Credit. It was at least 2 scoops plus a cone
