Silly question - what are the boxes/cards with the castle and mickey head fireworks on them?

A lovely start to your short trip!

They are a Disney take on Chinese Lanterns. They have a multi colour changing electronic candle in them. The colour shining through the castle and fireworks keeps changing through various colours.

Must look wonderful when the lights are off and you can see Fantasmic through the window. Thank you and have a wonderful time.

If anyone is visiting Galaxy’s Edge in the coming days/weeks i would probably avoid the 6am rope drop.

We did it this morning just to see what the crowds were like.

Disney hold everyone at the end of Hollywood Boulevard until 6am, then direct everyone around to Galaxy’s Edge and into the smugglers Run queue.

After an hour or so the initial rope drop crowd has dispersed and it’s much easier to walk around.

So if you are dreading a 5am start to your day, i think you will be ok to enter the park at 7 or 8 am
