Roast lamb mint sauce roast potatoes carrots peas and gravy
Rhubarb crumble with custard or ice cream with Rose wine DH doesn't like white and we've no red wine

I cheat when I make jambalaya I use a rice dinner kit and just add Cajun spice withnthe chicken prawns sausage etc

How was your jambalaya? Ds makes a really good one using the Asda easy chorizo recipe but adding prawns and chicken and using the extra spicy Cajun seasoning.

We are having takeaway tonight for my birthday and ds baked me 2 cakes. ( he was worried they might not both work &#128514

Raspberry Bakewell tart. Really nice.

Apple and cinnamon cake. Which really reminded me of the apple fritter from voodoo doughnuts.
