Chicken ( live one ) help

DH has just come back in been golfing and ushered a chicken into our back garden
Now no neighbors have chickens wil it be all right overnight in a huge dog crate we’ve got straw and a water dish and the crate can go in the garage we’ve too many urban foxes to just keep it in the garden
I’ll post pics on local face book etc tomorrow she is a friendly not fussed about the dogs and a pretty girl
Just want to keep her safe
Oh dog crate is not a wire type it’s actually a huge sky kennel so no change of her getting caught in wire etc water dish is attached to the door
We’ve put a fan on as the garage is warm is that ok

She may of been dumped if she don’t lay anymore .
Please take her to a anima sanctuary if you can’t find a owner .

Honestly it’s not uncommon for people to dump them if they no longer lay eggs .

Years ago our springer spaniel brought a chicken home after disappearing on a walk. He was so proud of himself but we had to go and confess to some neighbours. Fortunately they were very understanding
