Best hay fever treatment
My eldest is suffering really bad with hay fever and the supermarket own brand don’t seem to be working too well . Does anyone have a brand that seems to work - he normally takes a one a day .

I find that Beconase nose spray is much more effective for me than tablets (and works much quicker!). I really feel for them, it makes me so miserable!

Look at the active ingredient of what he is taking - I have found I need to change every few years to ensure it remains effective. I am currently using tablets with Loratadine.

Has he tried Benadryl the one with acrivastin? It works in 15 mins and very effective.

Agree
I always need loratadine as active ingredient but husband needs the other one that begins with a c. We can’t use each other’s as not as effective. So worth trying a pack with a different active ingredient if you haven’t already

Best by far that I've ever had is something called Avamys in the UK. It's a nasal mist that treats nose and eyes at the same time. For me, works perfectly.
I'm not sure if it is still prescription only in the UK but it was. You can buy it over the counter in USA , called Flonase, not that I've had to buy it myself. I was interested to see it in Walmart!

My dd is a newly qualified nurse and had tried every over the counter option and couldn't go to work sneezing and streaming eyes, respiratory consultant recommended Dymista nasal spray, works really well. Here in Ireland it is only available on prescription
